Bolstering investor confidence and gaining the Board of Directors' respect were the ultimate objectives of the new 30,000 square foot Club One fitness facility at Santana Row.
Because this was the first new Club One facility to be developed since the company's founding in the late 1980s, and the first project of a widespread expansion program, all members of the Club One development team were compelled to deliver flawlessly. By guaranteeing the project budget and overall time frame at a very early stage of the design process, Principal Builders allowed enhancements to the original design to be included. And even with these enhancements, the final project was delivered under budget and two weeks earlier than expected.
The development team earned unconditional respect from their board, and gained investor confidence that allowed funding and execution of future projects.
